Deutscher Abbruchverband Berlin conference programme announced
27 January 2012
The details of a (yet again) packed programme for the Deutscher Abbruchverband's annual Berlin Demolition Conference has been released. A total of 20 papers will be presented during the day-long event on Friday 16 March. The event will commence at 09.00 with a formal opening of proceedings by Johann Ettengruber on behalf of the DA, who will be followed by the six papers that will make up the opening session. A break will be taken at 10.50 to allow delegates to visit the stands of the 60-plus exhibitors who have taken space at the event, with the morning session resuming at 11.30 with a further five papers being presented prior to the lunch break.
The conference will resume at 14.50 with another five presentations running until 16.30, with the final four presentations being made from 17.10 onwards. The day will finish with the usual gathering at the Alt Pumphaus, but no mention this time of "Frei Biere".
Of particular note is that simultaneous English translation will be provided. D&Ri has attend five out of the last six conferences and, with the addition of this translation capability, we can highly recommend that you consider attending the event. The Berlin conference is the largest single gathering of demolition specialists in one place at one time and the programme, while challenging, would appear to be of great interest.
