Delete Group changes hands

Finnish environmental services provider Delete Group Ltd has changed ownership, with investment outfit Axcel having acquired the majority shareholding from Intera Partners with effect from 10 July 2013.
The deal is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2013, subject to approval from the appropriate competition authorities.
According to Delete CEO Jussi Niemelã: “Delete has grown rapidly over the past three years, and the new owner provides additional resources for us to grow in the Nordics. Axcel is committed to the long-term development of the company in order to also satisfy increasing customer needs in the future,”
Speaking of the change, Axcel partner Lars Õsterberg said: “Axcel is excited to support Delete’s growth going forward. Environmental services will have an increasingly important role in the industrial, construction and municipal sectors.”
Intera is a Finnish private equity firm that principally focuses on Finnish and Scandinavian medium sized companies with sales of €€10 to 100 million (US$13 to 130 million) that have not yet reached their full capacity.Also with a focus on medium size companies, Axcel is a Nordic private equity firm that has a broad base of Danish and international investors.
