Aimed at the road fleet sector, Mission Zero accreditation is awarded to companies who adopt a roadmap towards the vision of zero collisions, zero emissions and zero prohibitions.

Based on a full legal compliance audit, the accreditation is recognised as meeting contractual requirements including TfL Work-Related Road Risk (WRRR) and CLOCS.

According to O’Donovan Waste, which has a road fleet of 100 HGVs, the achievement required ‘meticulously meeting and surpassing all audit requirements.’

Jacqueline O’Donovan, managing director of O’Donovan Waste said: “O’Donovan is committed to meeting and exceeding the highest standards in safety, compliance and best practice within our industry.

“Achieving the Mission Zero accreditation further validates our ongoing dedication to ensure excellence and conformity across our fleet operations whilst also placing the safety and welfare of our employees, clients and the general public as an integral part of our business, reinforcing our pledge to improve road safety for all.”

Nick Caesari, CEO of Mission Zero said: “With O’Donovan Waste being one of the leading protagonists in driving standards within the transport industry, we are incredibly proud to welcome them as one of our Mission Zero accredited operators.”

Mission Zero is the latest initiative to be awarded to UK-based O’Donovan Waste, which holds several accreditations in safety, quality and ethical practices.
